My partner happens to be my best friend. We’ve always discussed being friends with benefits in our senior year. I had lost my virginity quite early on and him and I discussed that after he would lose his virginity, we’d fool around to experiment and try new things as we were both super comfortable with each other. I met my partner at school, we’ve always been pretty close and I share almost everything with him. I didn’t feel any romantic feelings for him prior to the hookup, just saw him as a friend.

So I left and don’t even remember how I ended up at my partner’s house, but I did. I went over to his house and was quite tipsy and one thing led to another and before you know it, we were in his bed, naked, all over each other. Why do you regret this hookup? I definitely felt a little hurt afterwards. I don’t know if it was simply lust or actual feelings, but I definitely developed something towards him after our hookup. So seeing him at school, being super casual, and awkward towards me, hurt me a bit.
