How/where did the hookup BEGIN? What led to it? Was planning involved? Who instigated it? We were in a small town bar. I heard him talking about how he was on a crew working on the water tower. He didn’t have a car to drive and was wanting to take a real shower BADLY but didn’t have a way to get the 10 miles to the nearest truck stop with public showers. I thought ‘he’s cute. I have a shower. I’d do him if he wanted to.’ So I told him I live within walking distance and he can use my shower.

I didn’t know him so that wasn’t about to happen but I needed to get laid so I didn’t say ‘no’ right away. We laid there for awhile, til I got bored and thought ‘he needs to shit or get off the pot. Do you regret this hookup? If so, why? Only because I shouldn’t have cheated on my boyfriend. I always cheated on him with the excuse I’m bored or he’s always gone but over the years I would hope to think I’ve grown up and truly love my boyfriend. He’s always gone because he’s working to provide for our family…just like the showering stranger…hmmmm…I wonder where MY man is right now?

This particular hookup has/had no bearing on my life. I’ve had sex with over 250 men and several ladies. If someone had asked me 15 years ago the impact hookups have on my life, I may have had a life-changing opinion or an epiphany of sorts, but ask me now? I stopped caring about 14 years ago.
